when i go home is about attempting to understand others' pain while dealing with personal transgressions. home can be a very dull, draining place for some. The feelings you get when you can't hangout with friends can have tremendous effect on your mental state. this song also touches on the topic of being put into a stereotypical "manly" job while feeling as if you don't quite fit in. The anxieties of worrying how you're viewed on the outside can often times lead to mistakes that were made just out of lack of confidence. this song is based off my own extroversion and how my thoughts affect me when i'm by myself.
